Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, licensed in the state of Illinois. I work with clients to assist them through a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting obstacles, career challenges, and communication problems. I also help many people, all genders, who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse, survivors of suicide and those healing from loss of any kind.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. My approach to counseling combines Client-Centered therapy (Rogerian), CBT, ACT and Choice Theory and is DBT informed. I also will use mindfulness and yogic traditions if I believe these will be useful and you desire to try something new. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Because of my client-centered training and background, I also believe that each one of us has the tools within ourselves to heal and develop greater self-awareness to live fulfilling and joyful lives. Sometimes, we need more than a trusted friend or family member to join us on our journey; a guide to unearth and identify those tools and learn to use them. As human beings, we are ever evolving and I will always tailor your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
