Counseling isn’t just for those who struggle with mental illness, it can be a very rewarding journey toward personal growth, it’s an insightful and healthy way to explore issues, needs, and goals. I find this work incredibly rewarding, to collaborate in making positive steps forward in whatever situation you might be working through, this is a safe place to begin.
I offer presence that is non-judgmental, caring and compassionate. I am an insightful listener, and will meet you where you are at, in whatever moment you are in. As we partner together, we can navigate the barriers to achieving your personal goals and aspirations.
I consider all aspects of a client’s life-their family and relationships, culture and ethnicity, spirituality and health, profession and activities. I believe in integrating many different philosophies that will best suit the needs of my client. Overall, my approach is collaborative and compassionate, respectful and honest, creative and hopeful.
I have been practicing counseling for the past 17 years, working with clients of all ages, with various presenting issues. I obtained my Masters Degree in Clinical Counseling in 2003 and I currently have two independent license’s in the state of Ohio as well, (LPCC) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and (LICDC) Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor. I am currently working toward my PhD as well. I look forward to connecting with you!
