We often find ourselves in need of support but fear reaching out. I commend you for taking the first step towards taking back your life. Sometimes we just need a little help to get back on the path we want to be on - and that is why I am here. I am extremely non-judgmental in my approach, focusing on what you would like to see change in your life while honoring your right to complete self determination. I am not here to direct your life, I am here to help you get to where you want to be.
I have been practicing as a psychotherapist under my social work license for 13 years, but consider my work to be a calling. I have been in the business of helping others for as long as I can remember and have always "run in while others are running out." I graduated from Binghamton University in 2008 and went on to receive extensive training by some of the most amazing practitioners that I have ever met. Thanks to them, I have a background that is diverse and well versed. I have worked with children as young as 3, the elderly in hospice and everything in between. The majority of my work has been with young adults but I have also practiced extensively with middle to older aged adults experiencing all range of challenges. I practice from a DBT perspective, which means I honor who you are and how you got here while also helping you to make the changes that are necessary to get you to the future that you want to live.
