Hello! Thank you for visiting my page. My name is Angela and I have been working in the mental health field for just over 7 years, and have been a licensed therapist for about five years now. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC) in the state of Ohio. My scope of practice includes substance use and co-occuring mental health disorders, mental health issues (anxiety, depression, trauma, mood, etc.), eating disorders, case management to access other services and benefits, trauma informed care, and individual, family, and group counseling. I have worked with clients along the life-span from age 11 on up doing individual, group, and family therapy. The theories and interventions that I most often utilize include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed-CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solutions-Focused therapy, motivational interviewing (MI), and client-centered care. When I'm not doing counseling I can be found with my husband and dogs, making dinner, or enjoying the outdoors.
