About

Hello! I am licensed in both Utah and Virginia. I specialize in midlife women's mental health with the overarching goals of helping women find wholeness and meaning. Navigating midlife, including the many brain and body changes that accompany peri- and post-menopause, can be daunting. I decided to specialize in midlife women's mental health when I realized how few knowledgeable resources there are out there for us and how underprepared most of us are for this part of our journey. I help with all of the usual suspects: body image issues, boundaries, relationships, depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, healthy habit-building, thought and emotion management, and more. But I also use a midlife and trauma-informed approach to helping with this truly unique life chapter. I believe that the therapeutic process is most effective when it is collaborative, compassionate, and focuses not just on what seems to be going wrong, but also on what is fundamentally going right (e.g., personal strengths, hard won wisdom, grit). If you are struggling, know that real help is possible and that it can make a profound difference in how you experience life. You are not broken. You are human. Let's connect and figure out your next steps.
