With over twenty years of experience in patient service delivery, I have provided both behavioral health and substance use disorder direct client care in outpatient, inpatient/residential, intensive outpatient, home/site-based, and private practice settings. My areas of expertise are wide and vast with a specific emphasis on depression, anxiety, physical abuse, emotional trauma, familial issues, self-esteem work, parenting support, couples counseling, and many more.

As a counseling executive, I have served in several senior leadership capacities in residential, ambulatory, site based, and nontraditional care organizations. I have earned a Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College, a Master’s degree from Western Michigan University, a PhD from Sofia University and hold licensure in the states of Louisiana and Michigan as Professional Counselor and in dual licensed in Michigan as both Professional Counselor and Psychologist.

My counseling style is a supportive and eclectic mix of theoretical approaches specifically tailored to the unique nuances of each client’s needs. I provide a nonjudgmental, safe space to address myriad issues. From coping with these turbulent times, seeking support to become your best self, working through the pressures of living in a space that is not always welcome to people of color, or just needing someone to stand in faith with you, I am here for your every need.
