About

I am a Licensed Psychologist and Therapist with over twenty years total experience working with adolescents, adults, and families. I have a diverse background with experience in forensics (inmate populations), sexual abuse trauma, child abuse, depression/anxiety, and personality disorders. I have been in private practice for the past three years. I have expertise working with sexual offenders and the families of sexual trauma. I work in depth with individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and addiction.

I hold the belief that therapy is a means to effect positive change and increase wellness. I use a cognitive behavioral approach, which simply means that by understanding the way we think, we can modify those thoughts, and therefore modify how we feel. It is an empowerment approach that can provide hope when life feels hopeless.
