Hi I am Angela and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been a therapist for over 15 years and have worked with many people who have had to experience life’s challenges and needed some extra support. Researching a therapist is the first step to getting help, and often the hardest. I am honest and blunt at times but also am supportive and nurturing.
Life can be difficult at this time with COVID-19, job loss, family conflict, social distancing and isolation, anxiety about the unknown and just needing overall support. I have experience personally and professionally with depression, anxiety, emotion regulation and dealing with trauma. I would love to be able to help you to and to be able to guide you to where you want to go emotionally or to assist you with learning new coping skills (or refreshing old ones and ones you didn’t know you had).
I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and also have experience in cognitive behavioral therapy.
