You will need to complete this setup in order to confirm your appointment.*** What should your client know about you? My name is Andrew Rogers and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor here in Texas. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Biblical Studies at Dallas Baptist University and my Master's Degree in Counseling through LeTourneau University in Longview, TX. I have a passion for walking with others through difficult journeys and finding fulfillment in their lives in the midst of ever changing circumstances. What is your approach to therapy? In my therapy practice I utilize an evidence based modality known as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and for those who prefer a Christian counselor I am skilled in providing Biblical Counseling. I am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Provider. In my experience, the success of therapy revolves around the therapeutic relationship developed between the counselor and client, so my focus in all sessions is developing a strong connection based on trust and mutual respect. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? My hope is that everyone who walks through my door feels safe, connected, understood, and cared for. Our first session is spent examining the two big questions: Why am I here in the first place? What do I want to get out of this process? From there we will take a holistic approach in examining various aspects of life: social, cultural, family of origin, spiritual, etc. After that initial session we begin the work of addressing the goals we've created together.
