Thank you for your interest in taking the step to enter counseling! I'm Andrew Penn, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have experience working with clients in multiple settings. I have worked with individuals in an Outpatient setting, Drug Court, Veteran's Court, and Corrections. I work with individuals from a person-centered perspective by using a combination of Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Therapy. Although I work with all demographics, I find passion working with men's issues. I enjoy helping men feel that it is okay to have feelings and work through their emotions. I find it is important to push past societal stigmas and help men be the best version of themselves. I became a counselor in order to help others be more assertive and be able to best advocate for themselves as well as work on their goals.
