My goal is to learn about my patients by actively listening and supporting an open and safe dialogue. I approach every patient as a distinct individual – acknowledging that the twists and turns of life can leave a unique imprint on each of us that affects our personalities, beliefs, and strengths. I position myself as a confidante and ally and work with my patients at whatever pace is most comfortable for them, with the intent to help my patient achieve emotional health and wellness. I have several modalities that I draw upon, such as client-centered therapy, strength-based therapy, solution-based therapy, and Gestalt, depending on patient needs, goals, and personality. As a seasoned person in the fifth decade of life, I can help my clients address and process their unique past, learn from it, and move forward in life with improved emotional and mental health.
