I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina with over five years of experience with depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Upon obtaining my MSW, I began providing mental health services and working in the human services field. I have experience treating a variety of populations, including adults, adolescents and geriatrics with diverse backgrounds and a range of concerns. I utilize treatment modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to assist in meeting treatment goals developed. As a therapist, it is important to me to listen with compassion and empathy, create a safe place, and join with clients as we address your challenges. I am warm and open while assisting with the needs of my clients. I continue to educate myself through attending local conferences and training. I enjoy working with individuals to build healthy lives. Building positive coping and life skills is how we overcome our struggles and find happiness in our lives.
