Hi! My name is Andrea - Are you coping with depression or anxiety? Have you experienced trauma that continues to haunt you? Is your primary relationship unsatisfying or even "coming to an end"? Did you recently lose a loved one or a job? Do your moods frequently change "for no reason" and leave you feeling like your life is unmanageable? If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, it is great that you are looking into psychotherapy! As a therapist, I specialize in helping adults who are struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, loss, relationship issues, borderline personality disorder, and other painful, emotional experiences. I am fully trained in many evidence-based methods/tools of psychotherapy that are proven to be effective in helping to overcome these issues. Still, in my experience, the most important aspect of therapy is building a safe, trusting relationship with my clients. This takes time, patience and willingness to work through misunderstandings (that happen in every relationship!). I am ready to take the time my clients need to feel safe.
