About

Hello there and thanks for stopping by my page! First of all, I want to acknowledge you taking the brave step to reach out to me! This is a trying time for many people, and if you're struggling with depression, COVID-related anxiety, relationships, parenting/family conflicts, or substance abuse, I would love to help you develop the skills and confidence necessary to deal with them successfully! My theoretical approach is one that is client-centered; our interactions will be focused on how to help you with your situation, with you taking the lead in order to promote increased self-awareness, confidence, healthy decision-making and overall improved functioning and emotional well-being. I always tell my clients: "I am not going to change your life. YOU are going to change your life, and I am just here to guide you and encourage you!" Therapy should NOT be stressful. Will it be hard work? Sure. However, I make every effort to make sure the experience is as enjoyable as possible and ensure that therapy will be something you can stick with through the growing pains and tough sessions. On a personal note, I am originally from Panama, Rep. of Panama, and have spent the past 16 years enjoying Florida living! I am a mother to 2 boys and enjoy traveling, cooking, and spending time with my family and my Frenchie. (You may occasionally hear his gentle snoring in the background!) Please feel free to reach out with questions. I look forward to working with you!
