I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 8+ years of experience treating an array of mental health diagnoses. I believe therapy is most effective when there is a collaboration between client and therapist in an empathetic, non-judgmental, and supportive environment, and seeks to provide individualized and client-centered care. I use a CBT-informed approach to treating depression and anxiety, and my goal is to help you see how negative thoughts can affect mood and to find ways to identify and replace unhelpful thoughts; I am also trained in TEAM-CBT rapid trauma model and the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM). I have training and experience working with Binge Eating Disorder. Many people find themselves stuck in the diet/binge cycle, struggling with low self-esteem and negative body image, and experiencing the effects of the weight stigma that is rampant in our society. I come from a weight-neutral stand point and believe we can pursue health without focusing on weight loss, and can heal our relationship with our bodies and food. Life brings us many challenges and uncertainties and there is no reason to face that alone. It is my privilege to help you navigate those difficulties and be a small part of your healing journey.
