My name is Dr. Andrea Araujo Talledo and I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, licensed in Alabama. I have over three years of experience providing clinical services in a variety of treatment settings, such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, correctional settings, military bases, and college campuses. I have treated a variety of troubles, including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, as well as conducted groups on anger management and stress management.

I would describe my therapeutic style as warm, interactive, and straight forward. I believe to succeed in therapy, it is important for the client to feel safe and comfortable. Thus, I believe in the importance of building rapport earlier on, exploring your specific and unique needs, highlighting your strengths, and setting a safe space. I also understand not one treatment approach fits everyone. My approach to therapy is a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and client-centered therapy. I also have experience providing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Trauma-Focused CBT.
