The way we form our identity is complex, many roles play a factor including our environment, family of origin, current relationships and lifestyle. Through the journey of life, events both positive and painful help to mold us. Exploring grief, relationship dynamics, challenging responsibilities and exploring difficult adjustments can foster guided growth. I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Michigan with over 6 years of experience in the field. I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds that seek support for a variety of reasons. I am informed in several modalities including TLC trauma techniques, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, attachment theory, solution focused, strength based, cognitive behavioral techniques and dialectical behavioral techniques. I will use a combination of techniques to create the most effective strategies to help you.
