Anabelle Miranda-Muniz, License Marriage and Family Therapist #95853. I have 13 years of experience in the behavioral health field. I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, trauma, and psychotic disorders. I also have experience with co-occurring disorders, providing psycho-education to clients and family members, working with those in crisis, and facilitating an evidence-based parenting program. My approach I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy interventions combined with client-centered therapy. My focus I have a wide range of experience with those depression, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, crisis, and co-occurring disorders. My communication style I create a safe place for clients to be able to share what they are going through in their life and what assistance they need. We can work together on improving clients' quality of life or goals. My journey to therapy I started my career in behavioral health because I had my own life experience with my mother. My mother had schizophrenia and growing up I just was confused and all I wanted to do was help her. This has been an enriching and meaningful career in which I am able to relate to and understand those suffering from mental illness. My goals for you I let the client decide what goals are important to them and provide feedback. Client goals are realistic and something they are able to work on.
