I believe that people has the potential to overcome toxic ways to deal with events in their lives but sometimes it can be overwhelming to do it on their own. I become a social worker because I wanted to help people and through my profession I have been able to achieve that. I listen to my patients with kindness and empathy and at their own pace I help them to acquire or enhance their coping skills to be able to overcome the challenges they are dealing with. What is your approach to therapy? Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been proved to be effective to overcome symptoms of Depression and Anxiety. I have been using this type of therapy with my clients since 2005. I have gotten training as well on Post Partum Depression and have served many women that were experiencing it. They came to my office feeling overwhelm and most of the time suffering in silence. Therapy gave them hope again and reduced that feeling of isolation. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? I offer a safe space for you to explore your feelings and thoughts, I listen to you without judgment and teach you techniques and coping skills that will empower you to accomplish your own healing process.
