My experience enables me to offer effective outpatient, individualized, psychological care. I treat a number of mental health disorders, and provide a neutral ground to individuals, families, and couples. Treatment Focus My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan for you. My goal is to help you overcome your challenges, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life. Where did you grow up? San Juan, Puerto Rico! I moved to the US in my mid-teens. Who or what most inspired you? My mother, who was the strongest human being I have ever known. She kept her family together, was a very independent woman who was always supportive of everyone who she knew. She always empowered me to do the same, and I think I do. What’s the best piece of advice someone gave you? “Do what you love and enjoy what you do." And, “You are your only limitation.” What do you like to read, listen to, or watch? I like to read about psychology, more specifically, how past trauma affects our lives. I enjoy chill music like “Your Mind” by Didi Han, latin jazz, and classical music. When time allows from my busy schedule I like to watch mysteries, biographies, and romance movies. What might we find you doing when not working? You can find me at home with my family, sometimes challenging myself to a new recipe, playing and talking with my grandchildren, experiencing a new restaurant with my husband, walking around my neighborhood, and connecting with friends. What do you do to recharge? I am fascinated by sunrise and sunset. Observing sunrise at the beach is magical for me! It provides the feeling of bathing in positivity and resets my nervous system. I also use meditation, music, and exercise to recharge.
