About

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been providing therapy for the six years. I started my career earning my AA degree in Human Services Youth & Adult and worked with troubled youth. I earned my BSW in 2010 and then my MSW in 2015. I truly enjoy working with people while watching them grow and succeed. I believe success happens when there is honesty and trust between a client and their therapist. My goal is always to provide a non-judgmental, safe place to share. Some of my experience includes working with substance abuse, domestic violence survivors, trauma survivors, personality disorders, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and parenting issues. I am always looking for opportunities to learn something new.

In sessions, I use evidence based treatment models. Specifically, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioral Therapy Skills (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused Therapy. I believe in educating consumers on mental health while teaching/implementing coping skills, using mindfulness, stress management skills, and grounding techniques.
