I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been providing clinical social work in the state of Texas for 21 years. I have a broad scope of experience from working with families and their children with developmental delays to working with our aging population. I have been providing Telehealth mental health services for 2 years and have worked in home based settings. I have extensive experience working with foster children and their families.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic skills to meet clients where they are to build on successes.I primarily utilize mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I believe the foundation to successful outcomes is building rapport. I see myself as a guide to help clients recognize and build and master skills to create sustainable results. I have a passion for working with underserved populations, parents, couples, foster families and the aging population.
