About

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor in the state of Texas, and am also a Nationally Certified Counselor. I have over 20 years of experience with varying concerns from stress, career related concerns, anxiety and depression, trauma and relationship concerns. I have also served in leadership roles in counseling serving nationally and in my state to advocate for counseling and students in higher education.

My style is empathetic and I strive to employ tools for clients to learn better coping and life skills. My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, however I also use Positive Psychology, and Gestalt Therapy where appropriate.

I believe that working on ourselves takes a great deal of courage and insight and as a therapist, I feel that my role is to help you on your journey to more self awareness and healing. Let's take the first step together!
