About

I am a Culturally competent Psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience working with diverse populations providing treatment using various evidence-based, person centered treatment modalities. I do not believe in stigmatizing or judging people, nor do I believe that people "are" their diagnosis. I believe that the relationship between client and therapist is one of the most important tools of change, so I strive to create a safe space where the client feels free to be their authentic self. I have , extensive experience and training in trauma. I also have experience with substance abuse, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, anger, self esteem, life changes, LGBT, OCD, Bipolar disorders, stress management, grief, isolation and loneliness, guilt, parenting issues, are giver issues and lack of assertiveness. I am committed to building trusting relationships, while adhering to all ethical standards of practice. I am committed to my calling and continue to further my education to expand my knowledge, interventions and competency to adapt to the changes in the world around us.
