About

I am a licensed clinical mental health counselor working in North Carolina with over 12 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues and PTSD. I also help many people who are in toxic relationships, experienced physical trauma and emotional abuse.

My counseling style is caring and supportive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in passing out labels. I focus on providing education, insight in managing issues that may present roadblocks in your life. My approach is very person centered realizing that everyone is on their own journey and may need different types of support based on their current life situation. I combine cognitive-behavioral, with some solution focused and trauma informed counseling styles. We will work together to create effective goals and strategies that fit into your life.
