I am a licensed clinical professional counselor and specialize with people who have mental illness. I have worked in mental health for about 18 years overall. I have a Master's Degree in Mental HeaIth Counseling from Capella University and have worked with various populations. I first became a youth treatment worker, then a case manager with adults and youth, then a therapist with all ages. I have specialized in Equine Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma among youth and adults, Eye Movement Desensitization and Restructuring, Person Centered Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. I have worked in Emergency Rooms for individuals in crisis due to suicidal ideation and attempts, I have worked in the University System, Youth Treatment, Hospitals, Schools, Private Practice (which I still continue) and most currently for a Community Mental Health Center. I have worked with many multicultural populations but mostly Native Americans.

As a therapist, I have found being creative and meeting each individual where they are has been very helpful. I use mindful techniques and clients strengths to help them achieve their goals and have ownership in their treatment process.
