About

Hi there! My name is Cherie Miller, LPC and I am passionate about helping people who are stuck in depression, anxiety, eating and body image issues. Believe me, I get it. You might just be trying to survive the day-to-day, and the notion of THRIVING sounds like a nice but impossible dream. It's not.

I know because I’ve been there myself, and I’ve seen clients experience freedom they didn’t expect. I can help you finally overcome your struggles with food, depression, anxiety, body image, and insecurity. Life is hard and nothing will change that... but when you are given the knowledge and tools to change, you become empowered to live life with more meaning and joy. And I know that you can do it, even if you’re not sure you can.

I might be the right therapist for you if you answer yes to any of these:
~ Do you have a love/hate relationship with food?
~ Do you go back and forth between dieting and overeating?
~ Are you or other people are worried about your weight?
~ Does your anxiety about things seem to go way beyond other people's?
~ Do you sometimes wonder if life is worth all the struggle?
~ Do you feel not-good-enough and wonder why/if people care about you?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, let's start your healing journey today!

MY QUALIFICATIONS...
I have a Master’s in Counseling and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. I have worked in private practice, as well as several eating disorder facilities. I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health mentor, speaker, and advocate. I have even been a radio guest show on the topic of women's body image!I also worked with kids and teens (and their families) at a mental health day hospital.

LET'S GET PERSONAL...
Because I know it is daunting to think about telling personal things to a total stranger, let me tell you a bit about me so we can start getting to know each other. My husband and I have been married 6 years and have a mischievous 5-year-old boy and a feisty 1-year-old daughter. We love to fix up our house or be outside, especially working in our garden or playing a sport. Otherwise, you’ll likely find me with my nose in a book and a cup of coffee in hand!

ON A FINAL NOTE...
I can help you finally overcome your issues with food, depression, anxiety, and poor self-esteem. Don't just struggle to get by anymore, let's reinvent your life.
