I provide clients with an open and judgment-free space for which to explore, process, and heal emotional pain. A sense of safety for clients throughout the therapeutic process is paramount to my practice. I utilize a strength-based, resilience-focused, collaborative approach that helps clients build a strong, empowered, and more cohesive sense of self. I am an experienced clinician in the areas of trauma, major mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and conflict in relationships. The majority of my work has focused on working with vulnerable and at-risk populations such as women in homelessness, those with addiction, histories of incarceration, HIV/AIDS, the transgender community, and children with trauma). I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming practitioner and understand the unique needs of these clients and their families. Experienced practitioner in multiple approaches to therapy, specifically a holistic approach to taking care of mind, body, and spirit.
