Ammanfil (Pronounced Aw-Min-Phil, Pronouns he/him/his) is passionate about trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder work, mindfulness, and pushing back against toxic shame narratives that may keep us stuck. Ammanfil has experience working alongside a wide range of clients of intersectional identities and enjoys working with college students, Millennials, and Gen Z’s in identity exploration, developing skills, strengthening motivation, and overcoming barriers to cultivate meaningful lives. Ammanfil incorporates psychoeducation, feedback, and homework as a part of care. Ammanfil roots himself from a trauma-informed and intersectional-feminist lens and operates from a space of strengthening true intimacy with ourselves to create opportunities for healing and personal development. Areas of Specialization Processing and understanding PTSD, trauma, grief, anxiety, depression along with increasing self-awareness and education. Mindfulness, Humanistic, and eclectic person-centered approach to increase self-compassion and self-care practices. Work with American Asians and Pacific Islanders and other BIPOC members, Queer and Trans folx, immigrants, first and second generation, and college students in overcoming barriers towards fulfillment and goals.
