Welcome. My name is Amelia Banks and I am a counselor and a Licensed Behavior Analysis. Over the last 6 years I have spent the majority of my professional work with individuals and families of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other behavior diagnoses. In this time I also worked with clients struggling with anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, dealing with accepting diagnosis, and self-acceptance/self-care.

My current passion is working with individuals looking for clarity and direction as they navigate healing and growth. I aim to create a space that is warm and open in order to allow you to feel safe to express/explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I believe in supporting you with the tools you need to move forward, equipped to face challenges as they may come. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused techniques. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. I enjoy utilizing the WEPSS (Wagner Enneagram Personality Style Scales) as a standardized measure of assessing personality framework; strengths and weaknesses; and chart a path to healing and self-acceptance over time.
