Ameerah Ali M.A., LPC a licensed professional counselor and certified clinical trauma specialist providing therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults. My client's typically have trauma in their background. They typically need someone to feel comfortable expressing themselves in a non-judegemental enviornment. I assist my client's utilizing a variety of therapies including a holistic approach, an eclectic approach, trauma- focused cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. I hold an additional certification in trauma. I believe therapy should be a collaborative approach between the therapist and the client as a team pursuing a path to wellness and peace. My goal is to empower my clients to move past trauma and mental obstruction to a more positive, happier realm of human possibility by understanding their true purpose and goals in life.
