Sometimes our emotions can feel overwhelming and interfere with accomplishing our goals. Variations in our emotions are natural and while we cannot always eliminate the triggering situation or feeling, we can work together in a solution-focused approach to help you adapt to your internal experiences while identifying meaningful personal goals to guide our work together. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 18 years of experience working with adults in outpatient, inpatient and incarcerated settings who are experiencing symptoms including stress due to new/transient life changes and transitions, grief/loss themes, depression and anxiety. I also have experience working with individuals who experience symptoms of more chronic diagnoses including episodic mood disorders and schizophrenia-spectrum disorders. My clinical orientation is behavioral, granting me experience in ACT, CBT, DBT, and other evidence- based interventions. I look forward to working with you.
