My counseling focuses on your strengths and using these strengths to promote change. There are strengths to be found in you; and when emphasized these strengths multiply, increase and grow stronger. My counseling style is tailored to you. This means I incorporate various counseling theories and techniques based on your needs.

I have over 10 years in the mental health field. My clinical experience began at at a children's hospital where I was employed as a community-based counselor working with high risk youth and their families. There, I was trained in the Incredible Years, a parenting model that focuses on building the relationship between child and parent to promote changes in child problematic behavior. I have spent the last 8 years treating a wide array of DSM diagnoses. Recently, I have become well versed in the Enneagram and offer this scope within my practice as well. The Enneagram offers individuals another set of lenses to which they may view the world, it simply describes the box you've been in your whole life and therefore can bring awareness to common behavior, motivations and fears. My special interests include working with women, couples, and parenting issues. . I also have a passion for Christian Counseling, and offer the ability to integrate emotional and mental health needs with the spiritual needs of the client.
