About

I am a Licensed Professional counselor that has been work in a private practice since 2014. I have a Master’s degree from Liberty University and have contracted with community agencies in my community working in Substance Abuse since 2016. My counseling style is founded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. Clients set their own goals and discuss thoughts and behavioral patterns that contradict with these goals. Together we will evaluate clients’ strengths and support structures to assist in maintaining longer term progress. I have had experience working with clients dealing with end of life, chronic illness/pain, bereavement, depression, anxiety, personality disorder, bipolar disorder, abuse, addiction, codependency, job loss, relationship conflicts, adolescents, premarital/couple therapy, and family issues.
