Social work experience includes working with Child Welfare and the medical field, from hospitals to hospice. What is your approach to therapy? Amber’s purpose as a therapist is to meet you where you are and to work together with you to develop your best self. I use a strength-based, solution focused holistic approach. Utilizing a mix of EMDR and CBT to help you recognize negative patterns and to process core beliefs that may be impacting positive behavior. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Seeking therapy isn’t always easy when life is not going in the direction you were hoping. Trusting a therapist and allowing yourself to be vulnerable isn’t easy but the end results can be worth the journey.
