Welcome! My name is Amber Arif. I I am a Pakistani/Indian American and I am a licensed clinical social worker practicing psychotherapy in the state of Illinois. I graduated from Aurora University with a Masters in Social Work. I have extensive experience with providing services to people of all ages with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety.

My goal is to improve communication, provide support, and to assist with recognizing problematic thoughts and behaviors alongside substituting them with a beneficial alternative. I prefer to utilize a goal oriented, and client centered approach. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). Both methodologies assist with problem-solving.

One of the most daunting things in life can be asking for help, however it is also one of the most important things in life. Sometimes all that is needed is a little push from the right person. I am sure that I can assist you throughout your journey of change.
