Hi, I’m Amber a LCSW from Texas. I work at a psychiatric facility with adults and have experience in working with individuals in working with mental illness and substance abuse. I use cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution focused therapy often when working with individuals. My counseling is unique as I have experience in working with all different cultures as I lived abroad and have experience as a third-culture kid. I am a licensed minister and also have a Masters of Divinity. In my spare time I enjoy basketball and my passion in life is helping others recognize there is hope when it seems there isn’t. I enjoy working with adults who might feel hopeless and as though life has no meaning. I enjoy working with those with mental illness and have experience in working with substance abuse as well. Navigating family relationships and traumatic issues are my specialty. My goal is to help you realize there is always hope. I use Solution Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy to help individuals learn different coping skills to help them through the difficult days that life holds.
