My name is Amber Hudson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Mississippi with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have a passion for providing support and treatment to individuals seeking help with managing and improving their mental health. I have more than 14 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various mental health settings. I have helped many individuals work through the many aspects of mental health to include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, adjustment/ transitioning issues, crisis situations and trauma.
In my work with these different populations, I find that working from a person-centered perspective, which focuses on an individual's strengths as opposed to concentrating on negatives, works best in a therapeutic environment. This provides a safe space for individuals to feel heard, understood, and respected. I treat everyone with admiration and kindness. I work to ensure that our sessions will be tailored to your desires and goals.
