About

My name is Amanda, and I am a licensed mental health therapist, practicing in the state of Florida with 5 years of experience. I have worked in populations of all ages, including adolescents, young adults and middle-aged adults with a wide range of symptoms relating to depression, anxiety, grief-loss, abuse, trauma, addiction, relationships, family conflict, school, self-harm/suicidal ideation, self-esteem, felony/probation, LGBTQ, gender identity and so much more! As a therapist my goal is to work with clients to help them navigate challenges in their lives. You are unique and so is my approach to meeting your needs and where you are at as my client. I provide a collaborative, safe and trusting environment that fits your therapeutic needs. My therapeutic approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Strength Based, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, and/or Christian/Spiritual Therapy. I truly believe that building rapport and establishing a therapeutic relationship are extremely important for therapy to be successful. My goal in the beginning is to gain your trust as your therapist to ensure a solid foundation. Asking for help is hard. I commend you for taking the first step towards seeking therapy. I will honor and respect your journey through this season of life. If you are ready to start the process, I am here to walk alongside with encouragement and support.
