Hello! I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I completed my Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of South Florida. I have been working as a counselor for the past 5 years in a variety of settings including homes, schools, in-patient and most recently private practice. I specialize in helping individuals who are dealing with stress and anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, family conflict and life transitions such as adjusting to college.

As both a counselor and yoga teacher, I take a holistic/integrative approach and believe it is important to look at the individual as a whole. Typically, anxiety stems from focusing too much on the future and depression from dwelling on the past. By using yoga and mindfulness-based techniques, I help individuals focus more on the present moment to decrease feelings of anxiety and depression. Most importantly, I am passionate about helping others feel worthy and empowered by cultivating self-compassion. My theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Holistic/Integrative, Mindfulness-based and Solution Focused.
