I have been a licensed clinical social worker working primarily in the acute medical setting for the past ten years. In my experiences through my career, I have witnessed everything from the tremendous impact of receiving a poor diagnosis, to changes in independence when becoming a caregiver and even the great loss of losing a loved one, to name a few. Mental health is so greatly impacted by our circumstances and often these are uncontrolled, unexpected, surprising and life altering. Whether it's being a first time mom and feeling isolated and scared, being a caregiver to an ill family member, life changes that are causing concern and worry, or navigating a new reality of living with grief; we all need time to process new thoughts, feelings and emotions. I have vast experience in navigating these feelings and hope to create a safe and judgment free zone in which you can do the same. I have an upfront, conversational approach, rooted in problem solving and hope to equip you with the skills to conquer any area that is negatively effecting your day to day.
