About

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a mental health specialty in Tennessee with a variety of experiences in different mental health settings. I have worked with children/adolescents with severe and persistent mental illness and their families, uninsured adults, couples, and individuals and families dealing with substance use disorders. I specialize in working with individuals and families that are navigating the world of dual diagnoses involving substance use disorders. Some of these co-morbid conditions include depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.

My therapy style is client-centered, strengths based, as well as fiercely and compassionately honest. I believe in the value and worth of all people and treasure my supportive role in my client's journey. I use an eclectic approach and am a firm believer that my clients know what is best for them. I strive to create an environment and bond with my clients that enables them to feel loved, supported, and heard no matter the situation.
