I work with individuals who come from a background of narcissistic, abusive, neglectful, hypercritical, or disengaged parents/guardians to modify any unwanted behaviors the client developed in order to survive in that environment. This can often include issues with codependency, self-worth, identity, and/or limiting relational beliefs. What is your approach to therapy? Collaboration and authenticity are key. My goal is to discover who you are and who you want to be, so we can work together to get you there. I help identify the patterns of thoughts and behaviors that limit you, then work with you to develop habits and set tangible goals to achieve success. What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you? Above all I believe that therapy is an opportunity to be seen and heard as you are without judgement. However, I also want my clients to feel that they are living for themselves and thriving. No longer just surviving and "making it work".
