About

I began my education with a Bachelor’s degree in special education, gained life experience as a stay-at-home mom for many years, and then discovered an interest in counseling as I walked through my own journey of emotional healing. I have a Master’s degree in counseling, have worked professionally as a therapist in private practice for 5 years, and currently hold a Marriage and Family Therapy license in the state of Indiana.

I'm interested in helping individuals, couples, marriages, and families and have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I am trained in systems therapy, which means I view problems and solutions holistically to include the entire family and their natural home, work, and school environments.

I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and enjoy being a support to people as they seek to improve their quality of life. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and incorporate faith into the context of counseling at whatever level you are comfortable. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.
