My approach involves looking at the whole person: my aim is to help you reduce symptoms using evidence-based practices while also supporting you to develop insight into the cause of your distress. Rather than just putting a band-aid on your feelings, I want to help you figure out where they are coming from. I believe a warm, supportive environment is most conducive to healing and growth. I am trained in CBT, DBT, MI, and mindfulness practices. I have been providing mental health and academic counseling/advising since 2009.
