Starting therapy is usually a difficult step to take. I applaud you for doing this for yourself. My role as a therapist is to help you on your path toward growth and healing. I tailor my approach to my client's needs, incorporating various Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and other treatment modalities. I believe in creating a healthy working relationship in which I can be empathetic towards your feelings and needs and offer guidance and support. There is no one-way therapy should be, but having a structured approach is the most beneficial for clients based on my experience. I believe in providing my clients with psychoeducation regarding diagnoses and treatment approaches, having a structure for each session, incorporating treatment goals, and having agreed upon activities to engage in between sessions. You must get the most out of our time together. I want to empower you to reach your identified goals. We are all a work in progress.
