About

I am a licensed professional counselor with over ten years of experience working in a variety of settings from in home family therapy to private practice to corrections. I have enjoyed the wide range of individual struggles I have worked with in these settings including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, addiction and trauma. I graduated from Adams State University in 2011. While I utilize different modalities with my clients including Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy, at the core of all my approaches is Client Centered Therapy. While going for my master’s degree this style of therapy really stuck out to me and that has never changed. I don’t believe in a text book approach to therapy. I believe that every person is unique and I am here to meet you wherever you’re at on your journey with compassion, empathy and non-judgment.
