Hi there, I'm Amanda! Hello, my name Amanda Bertoldo and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I love working with clients and seeing them build themselves up from the inside out. My approach to therapy is that you already have all the answers within yourself and I am here to support you in listening to your inner self to honor your feelings and advocate for what you need in your life. I provide space to share feelings, examine your thoughts and to be a neutral person in your life to gain support from, and introduce you ways of dealing with difficult emotions. I have experience with trauma, family, parenting, children, high risk clients and enjoy CBT and DBT modalities. My approach My approach to therapy is largely strength bases, solution focused, client-centered, attachments, boundary setting, psychoanalytical, and increasing positive coping skills. I approach my clients with providing clinical parameters so they can build their own skill set that fits their lifestyle. My focus My history with clients are those who struggle with depression, anxiety symptoms, relationship issues, family issues, communication barriers, and PTSD. My communication style I strive to provide a space for client to off load their problems, provide direct feedback, and work to encourage their own strength and capacity to make their own choices. My journey to therapy I have always wanted to be a part of making our communities more united and I believe that starts at home. If we focused on supporting the at home struggles, internal struggles, than our communities will be safer and more loving. Through the years of being a part of my clients lives, it's been a true honor to see their strength, love, ambition, sincerity, and power. It's truly inspiring. My goals for you I work to establish long term goals and weekly short term goals. I first explore what the client wants for themselves and provide suggestions based on information received.
