Amanda (she/her) graduated with a master’s degree from Georgian Court University in Clinical Mental Health/Professional Counseling. She is licensed as an Associate Counselor (LAC) in the state of New Jersey. She has extensive experience working in substance abuse facilities but also specializes in working with adults, adolescents/teens, families and couples assisting in areas such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, codependency, divorce, family conflict, peer relationships, self-esteem issues, stress, emotional dysregulation, and identity issues. Regardless of your reason for seeking therapy, Amanda feels it is best to find a therapist you feel comfortable with and can trust to form a strong therapeutic alliance. Amanda’s work often includes the family aspect for a fully integrative approach. Amanda is passionate about providing families with education about therapeutic parenting to foster healthy attachments, build emotionally connected relationships, and enhance positive communication within the family system. Outside of the counseling office, Amanda enjoys spending time with family and friends. Amanda is an avid tennis player. In the summer, she loves to spend time at the pool and the beach and cherishes her time with her cat, Friday. Amanda looks forward to working together from a person-centered approach to help you process life’s challenges together!
