About

I am a licensed clinical social worker in North Carolina with over 6 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, and relationship issues. I strive to create a supportive, therapeutic environment that empowers clients to identify current areas of concerns and develop proactive solutions that promote positive results. Through a collaborative partnership, I work to enhance each individuals ability to resolve their personal conflicts, fostering independence and self reliance.

As a counselor I understand that we are each walking our own unique path with varying obstacles and destinations within the journey. When working with clients I consider myself a companion providing support and insight while navigating through life’s obstacles. By incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused interventions we can take a Person Centered approach to resolve thought distortions and attain goals! I can also utilize EMDR techniques in order to help you move past trauma that may be holding you back from those goals. Together we can create a road map to conquer barriers and achieve rewarding results!
